Fancy Widget Issues

I decided to not put up fancy widget and use the wide weather channel widget instead. Since that is what they are in the business for, their widget seems to never be stuck or out of touch with reality. Not as pretty, but gets it done better.

Beautiful Widgets does the same thing.. I've tried both and neither one of them update the temperature. Ugh.

There's a new version of beautiful widgets that uses accuweather instead of google and it's working fine.you might try updating the app and see if it works for you.

Fancy widget current temp started working again for me this afternoon... it appears fixed for me (right now at least).

Yea it has changed temps 3 times today lol hope that means it might be getting closer to working perfect again hahaha

i use WF&CLOCK WIDGET by ***ood...

works very well for me..

clock and weather temps never seem to freeze..

*also if you have advance task killer, uncheck the box to this widget to prevent freezing

WF&CLOCK WIDGET has been stuck on Thunderstorms for 3 days here in Myrtle Beach. It's been 90-105 in the shade. No clouds.

I had problems the first day i installed it. After that's its been working fine and even switching over to different cities as i drive through.

I don't mean to hijack your thread, but I guess I might as well post it here instead of starting a new thread.

My issue with Fancy widget doesn't have to do with inaccurate weather, but I've got some battery issues with it. I've had auto-refresh disabled, disabled GPS, disabled wifi in apps. Still, it drains more than 10% in my battery usage info. In addition, the temperature of my system (not the weather, I really mean my phone is heating up) rises to about 107 degrees F.

I noticed this happening ONLY when I get a particular glitch. It happens when I click the clock to open settings and manually refresh the weather; however, sometimes when I hit the back button to close out, I get a black screen. I have to exit it by hitting the menu button. At other days when I never refresh the weather manually (just leave it be, non-updated and all), Fancy Widget only took about 2% of my battery after a full day of use. Perhaps my system is stuck in a loop when trying to back out?
