Fancy Widgets

I have the HTC Evo Design with ICS. I downloaded Fancy Widgets because it seems that Beautiful Widgets was forceclosing way too much when I had my ZTE Warp. I thought I would try this one. How do you get the darn skins to work? I press and hold on the home screen and select the widget I want but then when I change the clock skin or weather skin, it doesn't change. Also, If I have the default HTC clock widget, I am unable to change the weather skin to a Fancy Widget one. I guess I need to know how Fancy Widgets works. I couldn't get much help from their web site. Oh, and I have the unlocked version of the app. Thanks. Or, does somebody know a good clock/weather app that works good with ICS?

I use fancy widgets myself, though an older version as its more lightweight.
If you go to appearance-clock/weather skin you can select the skin you wish. Apply it then check your actual widget as sometimes I've found I need to delete the on-screen widget and re-add it so it'll refresh.

I'm not certain from what you're saying whether you are running the fancy widget app from your apps drawer (or maybe this isn't how it's done in a newer version?)

If the problem is not being able to even see the skins in the install option, do ensure they're in the Android/data/fancywidget/clockskins or weatherskins folder
