Explain what? Hockey or Fantasy hockey?
Very funny. I know Hockey, I've just never done fantasy hockey or any other fantasy sport thing before.
Its actually really fun. It makes games that you may otherwise never pay attention to new life. Not to scare you off.. but I think hockey is the hardest sport to draft forVery funny. I know Hockey, I've just never done fantasy hockey or any other fantasy sport thing before.
Toews always gets off to a slow start tho... first round late pick maybe.let me guess your eyeing Toews?
Lol. I'll take your boy Crosby even tho i hate the pens.Aha! that was psuedo reverse pshycology, I now see that you're really after Kane!
What do you know so far? We could clear some stuff up if you would like. It is pretty easy once you have seen how 1 week works.Alright, I'm in. I'm still reading about what to do though.

I think I have the general idea. I'm supposed to pick players based on how well I think they will perform this coming season. Their stats for the year will affect how my team performs in the league. Is that right?

No negative in hockey. Like its good to have players that rack up penalty mins and also score. In standard h2h format you have like 10 categories.. if you win all 10 for the week you get 10-0 record for the week. So you can still lose a week, (4-6) but still get 4 wins and keep up with league leaders.Yep that's right. You have an assortment of different positions and choose the best players for to play in that position each week. They get points for good plays (touchdowns in football) and negative points for bad plays (interceptions in football). Your accumulative points for that week (in football) determines who wins. In the last few weeks, their are fantasy playoffs to determine the winner.
I'd explain it better but I've never done fantasy hockey before..
Are you guys doing head to head weekly matchups? Adjust your roster per game or weekly?
Is it pretty much the same kind of setup as football?
