Is it worth it?

It frees up memory and stuff. I just always heard never use app killers, I was wondering if this falls into that category or not?

I've personally never used app killers. I just do a "battery pull" every night just to clear up any running applications and/or processes. If you run many apps, I'd say use an app killer but if you use your phone sparingly, I'd just suggest a battery pull every so often.
