What would cause a recovery zip to fail to load? Bad file? Anything else? I tried to bypass the installer in the NOV thread and use a swiftdroid 2.0 asis recovery today. Kept failing after the unpack stage.
If your going the Fastboot route, what are the commands? Most everything I've found references KDZ, but surely you don't need to use KDZ to do Fastboot.
Ended up using the installer today...3rd time since Dec. Must be the charm, since my SD card started giving me error messages when trying to mount it. Had to use recovery mode to partition to get the frigging thing to mount....very weird.
