Faster Mobile hotspot depending on which rom?

[chrisjm00]

So i've been switching back and forth between ROMs lately, and have noticed something. Why does it seem that certain ROMs pick up 4G better than others? I ran the speakeasy.net website from my netbook tethered to my 'bolt, and I used to top out around 15mbps. I just ran it this morning for the heck of it..

..and got that. Why do speeds seem to differ between ROMs so much?

I don't think roms affect the 4g radio, so it could just be a coink-e-dink

speeds will change through the day.. You wont have constant speeds all the time. They will fluctuate
