I have noticed that with certain prls I get an error about roaming and the thing on the lock screen that usually displays the carrier name instead displays "Preferred System" and when I unlock, I receive a message that I am roaming and extra charges may apply

Does anyone have the 61008 boost prl file... trying not to go back to stock just to update it...

i am still on the stock 61007 that came with phone and works great except for dead spots which might be 3 miles long and then all is great again. also i use network booster, which i have pulled over and had no service and then used network booster and then had great service and never even moved??????? explain that???? i mean no service with the x and ran app and had good 3g and all. also i live in south central fla near sebring race track.


i have never played with prls and don't know how either.

Ah well, thank god for backups. 61008 seems a bit faster to me. No speed test yet, but it seems to be more reliable.

um... is prl dependent on location... like would someone like me from brooklyn, ny expect to see an increase in speeds as much as someone who lives in CA if we switch to the same Prl??? if it is... was are good prls for brooklyn, ny???

Just want to say i live 30 minutes south of ft worth tx and the best prl for me has been 11114 so far.
