My EVO 4G will freak out when I am texting. Its like the cursor just goes to doodah land. Its gone completely. I am sure others are frustrated by this symptom. Its my only real bitch about this phone. Am I fat fingering the up arrow ? If so it wont come back down. Anybody else having this issue ?

Oh yes, I've heard about the infamous doodah land black hole. It's a real buzzkill. Steals cursors and other cool shiny stuff all the time. I'm pretty sure it's a widespread issues, I've heard of it quite a bit! 
Is it just the texting app or any text field? Maybe try a different texting app or something. I'd suggest Handcent if your not already using it.
