Help Favor from those who have a un-rooted bootlocked device.

Hi

I was wondering if a few of you could do a chargin test for me.

You have to have a unrooted, locked bootloader moto g.

preferably the us global gsm version xt1032.

All i want to you to do is power off the device and then charge it from a powered-on laptop to see if the phone goes to the battery charging screen or powers up. Also try and power it off while plugged in and see if it restarts or goes to charging screen.

Also do the same again bit with a wall charger,

Im just testing to see if a root and cwm flash has corrupted this as ive seen it before on other roots.

Stock and unrooted here, just did as you asked with USB connected to computer and the phone booted up both when I plugged it in whilst off and when trying to turn it off whilst plugged in. I have the daydream function turned off.

Don't have a wall charger with me at the moment, sorry.

Thanks for the info its obviously built into the ROM and not a root issue. Most devices tend to go to the battery charging screen. You'll probably find when you put it in a wall charger it will go to the battery screen unless there is an electrical current/ cable issue. Thanks again.
