Favorite App so far.... Developers please see link to Announcements above.

I would say the top 5 i use every day are..
DroidLive - A shoutcast streamer that lets me listen to a few select awesome web stations.
Evernote - any time i need to remember something, i either take a photo or write it down and evernote stores it in the cloud so that when i get home its there for me.
Nimbuzz - it combines facebook, aim and gtalk :D
PhonemyPC - i just started using this but its amazing that you can have that much control over your computer remotely.
TorrentFu - nothing like scanning a cd at a store and coming home and it being ready to listen to.

Hello, glad to join your site.....

An app I just added is called "Lookout" which protects/scans your phone for virus, etc. It also has a website which stores your pics, etc. and helps you locate your phone if lost/stolen.

I've just installed Open Home, I can't quite get my head round it but it looks beautiful. One of those apps you can costumise again and again by the feel of of it.

Are there any known viruses able to infect an android phone then? If so how, and what does this Lookout app look for? How do you know it's actually working?

I'm sorry but I fail to see the need for such an app.

My personal favourite at the moment is 'WinampRemote'

Very basic interface but can remotely control winamp on my laptop from anywhere in the house over WiFi, there is the ability to remote connect over the internet, but why I would want to control the music in my house when I'm not there is beyond me!!!

My favorite so far is facebook. Ultrachron is a close second because I have to time things for work and it is an excellent timer.

Currently, my favorite app is Smart Keyboard PRO. It is way more responsive than Better Keyboard. All it needs is more skins.

Google Sky is really something where I live the stars are easy to see. Really sparks imagination.

Does anyone know if Gasbot is still viable? I used it for an hour and it quit. Seemed useful. Can't find info or support of any kind.

Shazam - really helpful for identifying music :)
Goggles - .... could be usefull sometime
aTask Killer - cheaper than Advanced Task Killer, good for killing processes

settings----->
Go into Factory Messaging---> menu--->settings---> uncheck notifications.
Now Handcent will do all the notifying.

I have the droid Eris and don't have the option for "Factory Messaging", am I missing something or needing a separate app to view?
