Favorite App so far.... Developers please see link to Announcements above.

Switcher Widget is cool.
Screebl is amazing.
Apps Organizer is something I will not live without.
Pure Calendar Widget is a must have if you have a daily schedule to follow

The rest of my must haves seemed to be already mentioned several times.

Anyone know of an app like CoolIris? I really miss it (had an iPod touch before).

Tim

It's not exacty CoolIris but Gallery 3D has the same effect.

"Sleeptimer" in my opinion is THE BEST APP ever made :p

You can set like for exemple 10 minutes. You can either link the program to your standard media player or a custom media player and it will play the .mp3 files you got within the 10 minutes. After that the application and music stops and your phone "goes to sleep". So you can fall asleep with your favorite music ;)

It's something that has to come standard with every phone that can play .mp3

Amazing app for the people who use their phone as a semi-music player like me :p

So have been an Android fan since inception but only last month was i able to get my hands on a phone
Sony Xperia x10i Love it
Apps that rock my world are many but i have a few that really kick
Checkmark - a power house todo
c:geo - for geocache fans like me
Digital Clock - nice horizontal clock/alarm that has color adjustmens and song for alarm
eoeAppinstaller - a better way to install own loaded apps
Handcent - Best sms chat styled text centric app out there, free now with donation button
K-9 mail - because gmail app sucks and this dosnt
Jorte - a calander - notes all in one FREE app that kiks arse
Helix - home screen application thats light on resources and fast. Easy on batter life too.
MixZing - the best MP3 player going. first in my tests that worked right away with my Motorola BT headset pause play next song call answer. nice.
Vignette - alternative camera app. The default SE camera app dose not handle Geotags properly, i needed this feature more then anything else in my smart phone.

Sorry guess i got a little carried away but dam there are some great apps out there free and purchaseWare!!!

Not sure it's my favorite but the live aniPET Koi Pond live wallpaper makes me happy. It's cool. I can feed the fishies app icons! It's a 2 day trial but I may buy the full version. I haven't had enough time to play with this phone yet. It's my first touch screen/smart phone. The most advanced phone I owned before this was a Samsung Exclaim.

I really love the android game Cestos. It has addictive online multiplayer, with a simple concept, and runs as smooth as butter on an ice rink even on old devices like the G1. :)

I finally found my perfect keyboard application / ultra keyboard
By far the best keyboard in my opinion
Absolute luv it

i totally agree, this by far the best keyboard it beats the android and htc sense keyboard hands down. for those that doesnt like swype or prefers actually typing i highly recommend trying this one out you wont be disappointed!

My favs:

Swype: Life changing for sure. I hated typing on touch keyboards till I found this.

Beautiful Widgets: The customizations options keep growing. Probably best money I spent on the market.

Pandora: Always listening to this at work.

Gemini Calendar: Much better than the stock calendar insofar as layout and widget.

aCar: Was using Mileage before, but this is much more detailed for keeping track of my gas expenses.

LED flashlight: As of Froyo, I've got myself a nice flashlight on my phone.

BatteryTimeLite: Monitors my percentage and tells me how long my battery will last in various modes.

Pixel Zombie Live Wallpaper: Just plain cool.

SNESroid: I like to kick back with some Final Fantasy VI every now and then.

SongDNA: For those times when I need to know the lyrics to a song.

Google Voice: Like the call forwarding and transcribed voicemail.

OurGroceries - LOVE this app! Can't live without it now. Not only does it work with Android, but it works with my wife's Blackberry and has a web interface as well. Let's you create shopping lists that can be updated immediately from any phone on the account or the web. I was able to add an item to the list while my wife was shopping and it appeared right away. Best of all, IT'S FREE!!

The coolest app yet, for monitoring systems via snmp, check it out on Google Market! discover and monitor systems, connections, disk, memory, cpu and more... get alert when your connection goes down, when your disk is running out of space!! Also at the official app website www.maildover.com/techtalk.html and youtube

If you fly a lot the developers released a lite version of the air traffic control status application. It provides a widget that lists all the FAA ground stop, delays, etc. Click on the widget to see all the current reports on one page. It is ad supported and the full version provides the ability to control the refresh rate of the widget. The information really helps when the airline is not telling you why your flight is delayed. Or if the destination you're going to is having weather or other traffic management issues.

I remember someone mentioning a alarm clock app that would slowly play the song/alarm and not just go all out. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I can't seem to find the post T_T

My favorites:

Scanner Radio: Allows you to listen to police and fire departments from around the country.

DoggCatcher: Pretty good podcast player.

NewsRob: Great RSS news reader, syncs with Google Reader.

Seesmic: Twitter client.

Remember the Milk: To Do list manager, syncs with web site.

WeatherBug Elite: My favorite weather app.

An App that I use a lot is Mileage.

I realize most newer cars will tell you how many MPG you are averaging. And if you're like me and ever had a car where the fuel gauge didn't work... you learn to figure this out:rolleyes:

But this app does a lot more.

It will tell you how much money you have spent in fuel every month/year.
What the average price you are paying for gas is... and all sorts of statistics...

Great if you drive a lot, especially if it's for work.

I hear good things about "icar". Should check it out

2=skymap, my jack russell loves it too cause we double triple walks on clear nights, can't wait til summer

Have you noticed any problems with Skymap? I guess I didn't use the back button to stop using it last time I ran it, and when my battery was 1/2 used by the middle of the day the next day, my battery monitor said that 50% of the battery power had been being used by Sky Map.

I haven't tried Bettercut but I did try Anycut and I am not pleased. When I create a shortcut it doesn't align with other app shortcuts on the screen. Am I doing something wrong?
