My favourite apps:

k-9 email (the only Android email client with imap idle push email, afaik)
k-9 data killer (widget to turn push email on/off)
Email Popup (for K-9 email): pops up a small box every time a new email is received
SMS Popup (as above, for text messages)
pure calendar widget
remember the milk (to do list; Astrid is a free alternative, and connects to the RTM servers, too)
Websms (with fishtext connector): sends cheap sms with fishtext
ContactsGroupU: shows contacts by group
a online radio
ColorNote
Fring (skype, messenger etc)
Quicksettings
EboBirthday
battery indicator (Darshan computing)
Profiles (egg 'n stone)
KeePassDroid (keepass password manager)

Switcher Widget is cool.
Screebl is amazing.
Apps Organizer is something I will not live without.
Pure Calendar Widget is a must have if you have a daily schedule to follow

The rest of my must haves seemed to be already mentioned several times.

Anyone know of an app like CoolIris? I really miss it (had an iPod touch before).

Tim

Etherial Dialpad - easily the most simple yet enthralling fun I've had in a while, possibly ever.

Thank you so much for pointing this out. Ethereal indeed. Most elegant. Entrancing. A perfect app for the second decade of the new millenium. I especially like the swarm.

It's been mentioned in passing, but I think it deserved a better post.

xScope GT (an alternative web browser) finally makes me feel like my browsing experience isn't worse than all my friends with iPhones.

It's come a long way recently. Reviews I read from not too long ago talk about its poor usability, but the author seems to be developing it fairly actively and I found it really excellent. It's the first paid app I've bought (and I was an early G1 buyer, so I've held out a long time until now).

The pin-zoom is so much better than pinch-zoom, and a few other features are much snappier than the other browsers I've used.

SMS Popup

Something the phone should've had on it's own if you ask me. Most useful/essential app I've downloaded.
hell yea thats a must have must need app .!

i also have it as well .
i have to have to have it cause it takes me along time to look for the dam sms .lmfao:D

Wow this thread has caused me to download a ton of new apps! Thanks everyone!

My favorites are:
Amazon and Ebay (the fact that I can link right to my paypal is awesome! I shop in bed now)

There are a bunch of free games I love including Bonsai Blast, Mancala, Drag Toilet Paper, Paper Toss, Slimeball, Simon Says, Memory, etc
B-Folders
Money Manager
Around Me (great app to find local anything)

My only question...I don't know if any of you have downloaded Photoshop Mobile...but I downloaded it and it's not letting me upload pics from my phone? It says there are none...does anyone else have this problem with this program?

Same problem ... I guess I'm glad it's not just my problem ... anyone have a solution? (Thanks.)

I believe this is because the Incredible stores pictures on the internal memory which Photoshop mobile cannot see. What I did is change my camera app to save pictures to my SD card and then Photoshop has no problem. :)

Hope this helps!

1>Wireless Router for Root Users
Browse the internet from your pc, laptop, ipod, nintendo dsi, or any other device, all at the same time from your freaking PHONE! This app turns your phone into a wireless router at no extra charge

Was this really necessary?

Couldn't fit them all into one post?

BTW, it's Wifi tether.. not wireless router.
