Help favorite contacts

You can set a favorites widget up on one of the home screens and setup particular contacts in there. Hope this helps.

If your looking for only one contact then you need to find a speed dial application in the Market. If you want more then one contact then go to "Personalize", "Widget", "Browse all HTC widgets", "People".
 
You can add a shortcut to a direct dial (specific contact no.), direct message (IM to a specific contact) or just a shortcut to their Contact Info.

Long-press on the screen to add the shortcut (it will ask you which type after you select short-cut) or use the Personalize menu from Sense to add the shortcut.

I used this Android feature on my OG to have a shortcut to direct-dial my wife. Beats having to hunt for a contact or remember a specific no.

I have the favorites widget up, and I want to have two pictures for one person. One would be for mobile and one for work number. Does that clear it up at all?
 
If you click on the name of the contact instead of the photo, it will bring up the contact info. If your contact has more than 1 phone no., it will display them, and you can click on the no. you want to use.

To do that you would have to set them up as seperate contacts and make sure to not link them.

Exactly. I have the pic for my wife's cell but I want a separate button for her office as well.
 
Do any of you know what the black contact card icon is for on the widget? I have two favorites that have that icon on the lower right corner of their picture
 
In my favorites list.. I've noticed that when I tap on one of my contacts, instead of calling, it asks for how I want to text them. Is there a way to change that? I've done a little searching and can't seem to find anything related to that problem. Please help. I want to call this person, not send them a text message.
