We already have a favorite beer thread, why not have a favorite drink thread?

Lately mine has been Cranberry and Vodka

others that I drink would be:

Redbull and Vodka

Liquid Ice and Icehole Plum (plum schnapps)
 
Always depends on what spirit I'm in the mood for. Lately, I've really been digging Old Fashioneds. If they have Bulleit Rye, even better. :)
 
What I go for most often are 'big' reds like Syrah/Shiraz, but I enjoy pretty much any half decent plonk.

Used to be a big whisky/whiskey fan - not so much these days, though I do still enjoy a good drop on occassion. Favourites are probably Isla malts - Caol Isla being tops. There are also some terrific bourbons around - Makers Mark for example. Never drink any whisky straight though: as a maker once told me, a drop of water brings out the flavours the way a shower of rain brings out the scents of the countryside.

I also like Belgian beers. In the UK, that usually means Leffe, Chimay or Hoegaarden. For me, the brunettes are best, but blondes and whites are way more common here.

Also really like older tawny ports .. and brandy and soda ..

Now beginning to question my idea of not being much of a drinker ..
 
A good 18 year scotch. Favorite is Dalmore 18 year. Nice drink to sip, but I dont really drink often anymore, not a fan of being drunk, so just have a sip everyone now and then.
 
I've stayed off spirits for a long while but for a special taste, I could still go for a Laguvulin or other Islay malt. I really like the peaty taste.
 
when i can I prefer margarita and whiskey sours. there is just something about agave i like the flavor, and also something about sour drinks maybe i like the power.
 
Plymouth Gin and Tonic with cranberry, Talisker or Laphroaig for spirits.
Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Merlot, Promitivo for reds.
Orvieto Classico, semillon for whites.
Pinot Grigio blush (Frizzante) for rose.
Fuller's London Pride, Young's Best, Green King St. Edmund' ale for beer.
Or any win I make myself (Currently Black Cherry and Elderflower - be ready by christmas)
 
My favorite drink is freshly pumped, gone through reverse osmosis filter and then through ionizer, plain water. :-)

Sam adams beer, I love their seasonal packs.
 
La Paloma ...Tall glass of ice with Tequila, lime juice and grapefruit soda (Squirt). Great on a hot day and not as sour as a Margarita -- but you can salt it like one.
 
If I'm in a SkyClub, I'll get a bourbon (sometimes mixed with cola). If I'm at a cocktail bar, I'll get something I've never had before. Bonus points if they have aquavit!
