Favorite SMS app??

i dont see a problem with the generic app so i've been using that :P
i used to use both handcent and chomp back before i lost my G1, but the default program is just fine for me

you are probably roaming. When i roam i cannot get pics from my texts either. and then when i get in sprints area they flood in. sounds like a network issue not an app or phone issue
 
I can't get used to the look of Handcent. I even changed to the android setting, without bubbles, and I still don't like it.

I prefer the stock one. Just wish it was simpler to resend a message that fails.

Edit - messed with it for a good 10 minutes, and I have it looking almost just like the stock one. I will keep using Handcent fr now.

you can definitely receive sms (text) messages when on wifi (and yeah, 3g/4g is shut off when wifi is on)- that doesn't go over a 'data' connection. not sure about mms.

Just press the little failure notice. That's all it takes to resend.
 
I have Handcent right now. So far I like it. But it always has a double notification because the regular stock text notifies me too. How do I get rid of that?

Chomp looks interesting..Gonna check it out now.
