How is it on battery life?

I don't notice any effect on my battery, but I don't use the home screen widgets. I just have it set up for my status bar. The temp, weather alerts and Earthquakes over 6.0. I wish you could tap the geomagnetic storm section and have it take you to the Space Weather Prediction Center. I keep planning to request it in the dev's forum and never get around to it.

Darxen is my favorite for simple radar. Otherwise, I use a link to my local forecast page on Wunderground.

BeWeather. Uses the Weather Underground network of stations, but is a far more elegant presentation.
