Favoriting from within a channel - Channels

When in a channel looking at threads I keep finding myself trying to find a star to favorite. Or in timeline I'll jump to channel via thread/icon then look.

Then I have to go back to channel list to scroll find and star. Perhaps add next to channel icon in channel view?

Are you trying to star the Channel itself from within the Channel while browsing topics?

Can easily be added but we should first improve the UI for this so it does not confuse the user.

Just a star by the Channel name that can be tapped? Then when tapped, "Added to favorites"?

Came here to say the same thing as phases, annoying to have to scroll to channel list to fav. Also when I'm in channel list and tap star, it also redirects me to that channel at the same time as starring. And sometimes it's really hard to tap the star the right way on channel list, so I keep having to hit back and try again to fav
