Root FC's with newest darkys

Flashed my Cappy with Darky's rom V8 and the fone is working great with a couple small bugs. When I turn on bluetooth or use the app "My files" I get an error message and force close. Both apps continue to function perfectly however. Anyone else ran into this? How can I solve the error message?

I don't use either 'My Files' or bluetooth that much, so I can't really help there...

What exact version do you have? I can tell you that there was a problem with Swype on 8.0, so there may have other little bugs as well. As of last night, I've been running 8.1 and no problems so far!

I have 8.0. I don't use myfiles a lot either but after the bluetooth error, checked a bunch of other areas. In Titanium I ended all tasks relating to BT yesterday and of course those tasks were replaced the minute I turned on BT again but the error is gone? Not sure why it is fixed but it appears so. Maybe I will go to 8.1 after some reading.

i flashed 8.1 last night and only problem i have is the landscape....it works when i play videos but like in messages nothing happens when i tilt the phone....anyone else have that problem???

Landscape works just fine for me, too.

Back to the FC issue, the only problem I have had is for NFS Shift. This of course could just be incompatibility on the app's side.

Flashed up to 8.1 (no wipe) and problem was still there. Went into settings>apps>manage apps>all>clicked app and cleared data. Had to do this for both apps that were getting the FC and it cured them both.

No other issues with 8.1 but it looks like 8.2 will be out very soon.

Did you DL Darky's or the Darky and ytt2r's ROM ... Darky's is the i9000 version. I mistakenly rooted my phone with Darky's v7 a few weeks ago and had audio/landscape issues.

in the stock Messaging app my FB contact pictures aren't showing up, also no pictures when I have an Incoming/Outcoming call. I am going to flash Darky v8.1 right now!

I used the correct rom. I cleared data and all my issues are cured. No more FC's, now waiting for Darky's 9.0 rom. It is out in beta but I am waiting for it to be ported to the captivate and some bugs worked out.
