Root FE16 speeds

Havent done a ton of pulls, but getting over 2k when i never got over 1800 before, not sure I am in a hurry to get a 4G phone.

Odinned FE16 over CTMod 3.6 FA19

what are your settings, prl, ect to get that good. almost too good to be true????
 
One thing I noticed when I was tethering with my prevail, is that with full signal I would get around 1000-1500kbps during the day time, but at night time my speeds would increase to 1700-2000kbps eventually during 1-5am I hit around 250-300kb/s speeds.

It might be that your area has less data usage during night time and early morning so you're able to take advantage of it.

ok but wow, i will try speeds at diff times and see but no way????
 
ok maybe stand corrected here. i just used tools and then switched to diff server.and got this.

and moved phone to window and got full serv, still on ejo6 with 61007 prl. but with switching server will my phone run off that server now or revert back to the original one(meaning only switched to a different server in speed test of the avaliable of 4 and does that only apply for test or does it lock in on that???)

CTMod 3.6 settings, I have not changed anything, only flashed phone.tar FE16 on top.

edit: I live in a suburb of Chicago so towers are not an issue. Just did a pull at 2351 at 3:58 am local time, really getting crazy now.

edit2: It also seems my pings have dropped 10% or so since losing FA19

I live in West Michigan so Chicago is right across the lake from me, so I changed my speedtest to the closest Chicago server. Go figure, my speed result was 5x's the speed I am getting consistantly from a server here in West Michigan. Kind of an odd result I think considering I'd still be bouncing off the same towers, just changed the servers it's pinging. My ping is actually a lot better from Chicago as well.

Just one more reason Chi-town has been a favorite of mine for a long time...
 
one thing is when change server to get better tests, will it then use that server???????? if goes back to original then speed sucks!!!

here is a variable, i started these tests when sun was shining and the a dark cloud moved in and well you can see what happened.
so prls are good and do help but i still think too many variables to say what is good and not good!!!!
 
try speedtest (no spaces). by xtreme labs it's a mobile speed test and i find it very reliable and fast
