Help Feature tips required

Does the HTC Desire Z have the feature where the phone announces the name of the caller?

The notification sound on a reminder from the calender is toooo short? How do I solve it?

How or where to store some usual text(e.g. my address or email ID) to just insert it while typing an sms?

How to save the maximum battery(I have switched off all vibrators and I do not play games on my phone)?

What are the benefits of owning an android phone?

I will be grateful if someone answere them. Thanks a mil!

There is no feature that I know of. You can record a custom ring tone for each contact and that ring tone can announce the name of the caller.

Choose a different notification sound that is longer. Tap on the Pesonalize button on the main screen. In the Personalize sound section at the bottom, tap on Notification sound. Tap on Calendar and there you can select a notification sound that longer.

As far as I know, there is no easy way to do this. You could create a text document with these and then cut and paste them when you need to, but it may be more trouble than it is worth to flip back and forth between the text document and your message app and do the cut and paste.

How to save the maximum battery(I have switched off all vibrators and I do not play games on my phone)?

The screen uses the most power. You could try to turn down the brightness. Other than that, I don't think that there is much you could do. Note that a brand new phone's battery may not last that long. As you use it more over the next few weeks, the battery will last longer.

It depends.
