I have an Inspire 4g and loved the phone, until I started getting the hellish car mode bug, where it goes in and out of car mode and burns up a full battery in 3-4 hours sometimes less. I needed a new phone to say the least, cuz I am not willing to pay out for the phone to be fixed and I got a refurb Atrix. Please re assure me that I didn't make a bad choice in getting it. I really didn't want to go to a smaller screen size, but I really didn't want to chance another Inspire. Any kool stuff to do when I get it? I had Cyanogenmod on my Inspire and tried numerous roms before the bug issue. Are there any serious issues with the Atrix at the moment? I hear the new GB update makes it the fastest and most reliable phone on the market, I hope this is true. Thanks. Murph
 
You are getting the Atrix at a good time :) With the unlock bootloader, you can now put whatever is out there on your phone. I have my Atrix for 3 months and I love it :)
 
well, I got it and immediately started trying to kill the battery... yeah right. This thing has some serious battery life, was running full brightness and surfing net and playing youtube full blast and the battery meter was slowly dropping. my inspire would have been dead two or three times if I had done it to that. I can't believe I can use the phone with full brightness and hopefully wont have to worry whether or not it will make it thru the day. I couldnt use but about 20% bright on my inspire. I do have to say it kinda sucked at first going to a smaller screen, but time will tell. installed update and ran flawlessly, right now I am recharging it for some more fun. anything cool to do with it, besides playing tegra games? Is that bang bang racing or whatever it is worth buying? Thanks. now I can start on Inotia 3 again without worrying about the stupid car mode f'ing up my game. sweet. Hopefully this phone will do me good, or its going back before 30 days to get the lg thrill, but then again, i might want to get a lapdock too, who knows. Thanks
 
Good to hear that you're rocking and loving the Atrix :) Other than the Tegra games, there's nothing that you could do on the Atrix that you couldn't on the Inspire...well except play on it longer without recharging it it seems ;)
