Help file downloads on phone

Hi there peeps got a bit o a problem when downloading files, any time im downloading a file i get curropted files and it seems to save everythin as .bin files.

Any ideas how to stop this happening?

on the pc if i download with my pc browser its fine, phone downloads are all .bin (even pdf) and when transfered to the pc are still just .bin.

my friend tried the same downlaods on his nexus one and downloaded the files jsut fine so wondering if my phone jsut doesnt like downloadin lol
 
My Desire used to do that with files from 4Shared.com - If you are not using the stock browser try that, and if u still have no luck restart the phone (as thats what i did and its fine now)
 
Ok tried it with firefox and it works ok with that thankfullt, just not to keen on firefox on the phone seems kinda large and sluggish lol
 
may be you can try skyfire/xscope/maxthon..they are lighter than firefox

had some problems with flash using stock and dolphin..but skyfire saved me
