Help file support issues

i have the original Vibrant...everything works flawlessly...always has...until now...not sure why, but for some reason, all of my videos in my gallery and songs in the music player, if i tap them to play, i get an error like "sorry, this video cannot be played" or "this is an unsupported media type"...even with the avatar that came preloaded...but if i turn the phone off...then back on...the videos and music play just fine...but after awhile, the same thing happens...just will not play anything and says its unsupported...i tried a factory reset and formatted the SD card because i had moved a few apps from SD storage to Phone (thinking that was the issue)...it wasnt...and the factory reset did nothing...i contacted T-Mo and theyre sending me a replacement device...but if at all possible, id like to keep the one i have as opposed to a possible refurb...anyone have any experience with this issue or know of a fix? i have done no modifications to the phone...it was a stock 2.1 when i bought it new, and i updated to 2.2 the day it was released...the phone has always worked perfectly and ive never had an issue at all with it...this is what puzzles me the most...any help is much appreciated!

I have not experienced this with the media apps, but it happened with another file type. I fixed it by clearing data and reseting the defaults to that app. Have you tried clearing defaults on the Music and Video apps?

To do this, click on Settings->Applications->Manage applications then click on All tab. Look for Music and click Clear defaults. Repeat with the Video App.

Remove the Twitter App it will fix this issue that you are having, I was having the same problem and removed Twitter about a week ago and have not had the problem since.

:D
