With wi-fi access my home network turned on, using ES Files on my Droid X, I can access the file system on my Windows 7 PC. If I used the built-in Files manager on the phone, and try to add my PC as a server, I get the message "Server is not reachable". Why?
Meanwhile, on my computer, under Network, my phone shows up as a Storage device, but all I can do with it from there is display its properties. There isn't a way to get into its files. This is true even when, on my phone, I have DLNA turned on, and configured to share photos, videos, and music.
Any solutions? Am I overlooking a setting somewhere?
