I started getting the message that I was running out of space.
I cleaned up all the apps I could and there is hardly anything left on the phone (there are still some apps on the sd card).
I still can't even open a browser, but instead get the message "Not enough phone storage space".
I used ES File Explorer to try to find out where the space was allocated, and came across a file recursion under /sys/devices/virtual/vtconsole/vtcon1 and vtcon2.
Under vtcon1 and vtcon2 there is a folder called subsystem, which contains vtcon1 and vtcon2, which each contain subsystem, and on and on. When I tried to look at properties for the virtual folder, I cancelled out once the number of subfolders exceeded 10,000.
Any idea what is going on? If I try to delete that hierarchy, what horrible thing will happen? Will I make it worse? How could this recursion have been introduced?
Any insight greatly appreciated
