so I know this has been covered time and time again. but i can't seem to find it by searching google or the forums (probably just searching for the wrong thing).

basically i need to transfer a folder from my PC (running 32bit XP) but I can only get MTP mode to work through Windows media player.

on my main pc's I already have it set up but this one isn't co-operating. I've tried installing the drivers direct from samsung, tried by using PDA-net, and also the normal windows driver install.

So feel free to harass and make fun while trying to answer the question!

Rather than dealing with XP driver/software issues. I would just download Airdroid (free) from the market. It's absolutely amazing for what it does, esp. as a free app. Basically it creates a web-based server on your phone so you can log into your phone through your PCs browser and manipulate just about anything you want on your phone through a really nice GUI (Graphical User Interface). One of the many features of Airdroid is that you can transfer files from and to your phone wirelessly as long as your PC and phone are on the same network. I've used it a few times since I discovered it a week or two ago and it's awesome for things like this.

It's pretty easy to figure out, but if you have any questions about it, ask here again.
