Help File Transfer

[Android Question]

I've been trying to figure out how to transfer files between my Note 3 and Note 4 using WiFi, but have not been successful, yet .....

I can transfer via Bluetooth, which is quite slow. Took a little over 20 minutes to transfer audio files around 250MB total size.

Please share your experience with transferring files between two Android devices via WiFi. I tried ES File Explorer, but can't get it too work.

I've used File Commander (installed as stock on Sony devices) which provides a wifi transfer option via the standard Android Share... menu. Maybe Samsung's My Files app provides a similar feature?

Other than that, Android Beam (using NFC) should be available via the same Share... menu.

and also, there is * File Manager ASUS - Android Apps on Google Play

which I find to be much easier to navigate with than any of the other apps

the selection process for what you want to transfer from, is an immediate "type selection", and not having you drill thru folders

While it's probably a good suggestion, the question was asked over two years ago by a guest member who never returned. Kind of moot at this point.
