Root Files we need to find

LG Whiz Kid
We need one of the following files
Don't know if it's .tot or .bin (most likely tot):
LGMS770AT-00-V09k-MPCS-US-MAY-24-2012+0.tot
LGMS770AT-00-V09k-MPCS-US-MAY-24-2012+0.bin
or
V09k_00.kdz

I know for a fact that these files exist, whether it is on LG's public firmware server or not, they DO exist.

Of course I tried google...if you search these file names, you'll get back on this thread sooner or later :p

Why we need this file:
It may have a bootloader that isn't locked.
The name format is a GSM phone format.

Please, no one spam the guy who has/had the b firmware on his phone. I'll PM him once, but I'm sure he updated since.

yea...it seems the file name format they used is used for GSM phones only, therefore, this firmware could probably get this phone working as a GSM phone if found. Also this firmware is most likely the B firmware I spoke of before. We need to find someone who works for LG...

Hey ,my above post.
They guy has a clue
Google his name.
He has lg,firmware for fricken Mars.
Can someone else shoot him an email explaining our needs.
He may be able to help
I sent lonewolf a note also hoping the forum sends him an email.
I screwed around with lg download and ftp
.even tried,lg poland ftp. No luck
I did find a very interesting,script concerning ftp servers and login. But save that for later.
From my research
The motion and regard are infact considered to be in the optimus family
I dont always know what i am talking about so dont take me seriously
I always thought this was easier than lg made us think
If this metro file cant be found we may have to flash chinese or other countries work before we can flash ours

Should i say we may use one of there tools to gain access
My perspective yeah to know someone in lg would help
But really quallcom devs have it all.

I agree I checked out your link in your previous post and the guy seems to know lg very well his link on the motion has some stuff but I don't know if any is useful....I'm no dev I just flash lol.

@rhino, Optimus is now just a name, it is no longer a line of phones. The original Optimus line used armv6 processors :p

That link, I've seen before. I'm not sure how he gets it, I'm guessing he enters random IMEI numbers like im starting to do now :p but yea, you can go PM him/post in thread.

And i totally forgot to ask him about flash tools
Maybe he has or access to our qhusb-dload to give access flash without a loaded kernel.

Not entirely true since LG continues to put out Optimus devices. It doesn't matter what the original processor was. That's kind of silly. That's like saying the new S4 isn't in the Galaxy line of phones because its processor is a different architechture than the original Galaxy.

He probably isolates the addresses that the LG Update tool connects to and pokes around their server for the different firmware.

My phone is still broken, they have none in stock.
I'm using this demo right now and its fast. I asked if they could replace with demo phone, they said no cause it's a demo...
And i have to pay $15 to replace.....meh.
My internet is out at home....Comcast blacklisted my modem since i took it from a garage sell so i don't have to pay $5 lease...

I'll be back Thursday.
