So I am looking for some files. Flashable preferred.

1st is the nice UI some Roms have when plugged to a PC. It looks better than Stock.
2nd is Quick Settings that doesn't have Recents but does include Restart. I have found 1 that will work on the Rom I am modding for myself but it doesn't include Restart.
3rd is a kernel or something that will boost my 3g speeds and add some more functions to settings to allow me more customization.
4th is the 2 iffy things. Would like the Dialer that has Contacts and such like Decks so I can remove that from my screen and info on how to add sound like on the Sense 3.0 Roms when you start and the Weather shows.

I am using a Stock OTA 4.67 Deodex Rom. Am doing all miss myself so there really isn't anything to Bork except maybe the advance Power Menu and QS I have flashed so far. No need for Swipiing Notifications. Just hitting Clear is easier for me.

Dunno what you mean by this. You mean like a webdock or something that some motorola phones had?

Reboot has to be coded into the SystemUI and another framework file android.policy.jar, and as far as I know for the 4G, only three ROMs have the Reboot in the Quick Settings, unless ca1ne added that to his files. You'll need to find the quick settings thread in the Supersonic forums on xda.

The thread above is for 2.1 but can be applied to our 1.0. I recommend following the points but use files from a Sense 1.0 ROM i.e Tommy Tomato's Classic ROM as its comaptible.

A lot of the 3g speed tweaks can be found in the build.prop not the kernel unless they have been baked into the RAMdisk which isn't common. Most custom ROMs have these added into the build.prop

I'm not sure what you mean by remove from dialer, if you long press a contact in the recent calls you can delete it on Sense. Else use a third party app like dialer ex from the play store. You can't remove thedialer otherwise phone and contact.apk FC like nobody's business!
The sounds, you'd need to extract them from a Sense 3.0 ROM and place them in the ROM you want but there are probably changes that need to be made to the SystemUI or framework files to get that working as its not implemeted in Sense 1.0 ROMs as far as I know.
Does Classic have a start up sound?

Ok....for the first.

When I tether to my PC I get the pop up asking if I want Charge,Tether,Disk Drive etc. I have flashed Roms that have a better UI like Enery Rom for example. That looks better than stock. Others have it also but that was the one I could think of quickly.

Dialer.....I don't want to remove it. I want to remove the Contacts from my Honescreen. Decks Reloaded and others have a dial pad that shows options for Recents,Contacts etc. Is a lot nice UI than the stock. As it is now I have to either keep the Contacts shortcut on a screen or search through my apps to find it or scroll through all the recents to the bottom and hope it holds enough to show my contacts.

The other things I wasn't sure about. I have tried nearly every QS zip I can find and only 2 have worked. 1 had Recents but not the restart option and the other I am using now doesn't have recents or restart option. The speed boosts I have read many articles on but most require ##3282# which since I rooted no longer works. I have checked to be sure the EPST file is still there but nothing so far is why I was hoping for a kernal or something I could flash and try.

That would require theming of the PCSCII.apk if you want to change the look of that menu. And also com.HTC.resources.apk in the framework most probably.

Now you could download the ghost Rosie and Rosie utility that has been made by Tommy Tomato. This gives the option for a long press option on the Rosie buttons and I guess you could add the contacts.apk as that option. Rosie is the name of Sense dock just in case you're wondering.

QS you might have to do yourself as I said in my previous post.
Have you tried using apktool or apk manager?

A lot of what you want to do will require some modifying of apk beyond simply flashing as a lot of the custom ROMs have multiple mods which require several apks to have changes made to them.

Ok.....hopefully last set of questions until I either destroy my phone or make it look how I want.

Ever used Oxygen XML? Is a WYSIWYG XML Editor. In case it doesn't allow much and is needed how do I sign an APK? I see everywhere about that but not sure if just putting on my PC,changing name to .zip,unzipping and editting and then rezipping,changing back to .apk is going to work.

There are several tools that can sign an apk for you, however the easiest way that I've found is once you've edited and recompiled/re-zipped your apk, if you have the original version, open that using 7zip or similar and take the META-INF folder and place in the modified apk. Also take the Manifest.xml and place in the new apk if you haven't made changes to that.

This thread above the first post has several links to how to/guides for modding the look of your phone and also has some great tool recommendations for starting out. Very useful thread and will help you with anything you wanna do so far. Its where I first started looking.

Ok...next questions and hopefully easier.

If I just want to add certain things like the weather with sound and a better lockscreen than the stock or a better Rosie like one from Express X with 5 spaces for apps is it as easy as finding the stand alone files and move them to the system and fix permissions or must they also be signed? I am still using stock deodexed 4.67. Not signed or anything just deodexed. Basically,can I just find Sense 3d and stick it in and be golden?

Unfortunately no. Anything from a higher version of Sense will not be/can't be ported back due to different framework and resources. You would have to basically rewrite the smali code for the functions!

Regarding the rosie, something you can try is either d/l Digital Karma's v8 Reincarnation and exacting the Rosie or one of his Rosie mods. Or getting the Rosie from the Classic.
Next go to the Mikmik forums and find Tommy Tomato's thread for the Rom Utility. On pg 5 there will be a link for a download. Get it. EDIT: Here is a link to the post with the download [App] Rom Utility - coming soon. This is a demo app but it has several features that are working which you sort of want.
Push both to system/app directory, and fix permissions (rw-r-r = 644).
Now in the utility there are interface options one being for Rosie which will allow for short press and long press options giving you a total of 5/6 choices. Not exactly what you want, but it is the closest. And if its what Tommy has done then more than likely its the only/most 'simplest' way.
Classic Rom is the current standard for Sense 1.0 Roms in terms of features, IMHO. Keep an eye of Digital Karma's ROM though, some good things, they are a-coming!
