Just got jelly bean on my sprint nexus, but other than Google now what else should I know about it? What's new? I will say it does run a lot smoother.

Enjoy it!!!! Google Now is awesome, but be aware that having alot if the functions enabled will help drain your battery quick. Its super smooth as you said and just, to me at least, alot more stable.

As to now what......You can make all of us on Verizon jealous by having it!!!! (I am running the "unofficial" release from a couple of weeks ago lol). Enjoy!!!

Same here! I actually got my Nexus yesterday, unlocked it, rooted it, and installed the JRO030 zip with Jelly Bean and it is awesome! Project butter is for real! And Google Now is great! I hope Verizon hurries up with the official release. Enjoy your update!

Mostly it is smoother. And putting icons on the launcher is nicer with widget resizing and such.

JB isn't a huge difference functionally than ICS. It's ICS but smoother. I mean, not to downplay the work that went into it. But it's lots of small stuff. It's not an obvious difference like GB to ICS was.

Well that's reflected in the fact that ICS is android 4.0 and jellybean is android 4.1. Its an incremental update.

Gingerbread to ics was android 2.3.x to 4.0 so that obviously brought huge changes.

jb is pretty much the same thing as ics. no amazing changes.

If ICS to JB wasn't a quantum leap for you, something's wrong with your phone.

JB finally met or I would say exceeded iPhone's user interface for silky smooth perfection. Add Google Now's intuitive ability to tell me what I want to know, without asking, I'm blown away!

I told Google where home was. I told it where work was. That is all. It knows what time I usually leave and gives me a traffic updates 15 minutes in advance, both to work and home.

It knows my favorite baseball team. It keeps me updated on the next game, scores while a game is in progress and final scores.

If the thing gets any more intelligent it's going to be asking me, "Dave, just what do you think you're doing?"

How do I let Google know where home is and or work? Is it a card?

Also are there other cards to download or are all the sample cards all of them?

the inevitable "i'm blown away" posts...

You don't seem to be that pleased with your phone. :(

Perhaps you'd be happy with an iPhone. I hear you can get one with Virgin Mobile USA!

this doesn't make any sense.

See if this post here will help you. Ignore the bits about having to have a custom rom. I believe all you need is JB.
