Finally Got My Walking Papers

After begging my family to give me my b-day present early, they relented. I now have my Galaxy S2 Skyrocket on AT&T, and let me tell you it is wonderful to rid myself of that Warp. For the time being, I have a dependable phone that's fast as all outdoors.
With that, I bid you all farewell and wish you even better. I'm heading over to the other forum for my phone now.

Never understood why people post threads on them leaving!
 
I went from Sprint "Simply Everything" paying $145/month ($10 data charge for 4G which I could never use and high taxes in DC), to paying $55 (and it will eventually be down to $40!!!), for EXACTLY THE SAME SERVICE with no contract.

As for the device, the Warp exceeds the Epic 4G I had before in every way except the screen quality, and it was freaking $140. Best cell phone value I've ever had.

Is it the fastest phone on the market? No. Does it have the best screen? Who freaking cares? It costs 30% of the equivalent hardware and service.

If you're spending your OWN hard-earned money on cell service, this is one of the best phones/values out there.

Sorry, but I'll be 55 this Saturday, and I'd be willing to bet my oldest son is your age, and he's 33.
Thing is, if you see something posted you don't like, an adult will usually just skim over it. A child will jump up and down trying to get attention.
 
I just ordered an iPhone 4s from the apple website(Verizon)...
But ill keep the zte warp my first&last android phone :p
Luckily I didnt buy another android phone...


I hate it

-wifi restarts
-back plate feels sooooo cheapass or weuci
-interface
-battery life
-restarts by Itself
-os support
-camera(video) is the worst ..photos was OK
-when earbuds pluggled in left was louder
-volume buttons&camera feels like its going tobreak ...
 
I guess this applies to me too. The comments about not understanding why people announce when they are leaving and such. And you know what I get it that you guys would jump to conclusions about people. Im doing it right now. Im thinking these guys were making comments calling me a "know it al"l last week and this week they are calling this guy a worthles teenager when he's actually 54 years old. I usually bite my tongue and move along when I read things I dont like and I would advise you guys to do the same. I love the friggin phone. But I cant stand some of the crap on this forum. Im only done with the Warp because of this attitude.

I do know this. Im done for good now. Enjoy your phone.

I think A LOT of you don't realize that you paid 200 for brand new phone!! 200 smackers, and you except this phone to be some iphone 4s that cost you over 2000 in two years just to have a cell phone!!! Been down that road, NEVER doing that again!!!

It does not take a dual core phone to run android perfectly, as a matter of fact there is NOTHING that requires a android phone heck even a iphone to need a Two processors to use it! But because these companies want your money they tell you your need a quad core phone to run angry birds! lol!

All Androids have poor battery life! Yet i can go 24hrs with heavy use before i have to charge mine with 3g on all day on my warp!

This is VANILLA OS experience..... you want sense, touchwiz, blah blah, THIS AINT YOUR PHONE! But you can buy launchers in the market that will crave your needs.

Never had a restart problem with this phone, This is the first phone in a long time i can say for the money OFF CONTRACT its worth it!

Everybody on this forum is taking what people say like its the end of the world. The same people who are doing this are the same ones who arent trying to make this little warp community a better place! Woodstock i wasn't even comparing your situation to the OP. Honestly i would hate to see you go, but i wish you wouldn't take everything people say to heart! You and few others are the only ones TRYING to make the warp a better device for current and future members. And for that i respect ya 100% Are me and you going to see everything eye to eye? NO, but we should at the end respect each other.

Whatever the age of the OP is i dont care... if he thinks a S2 is going to make his android experience better than hey its YOUR MONEY, do what you please. But at the end of the day what can a S2 do that my warp can't do? S2 is a worry-free no fault phone than a warp?

I don't know why there has to be So much disrespect in this forum, Do I have to go back to the basics? If you don't have anything good to say then don't say anything at all.. and the o.p is a good guy. That's what's wrong with everyone now. ."we" feel like saying disrespectful thing just because "we" can.. it's got to stop if you want to see this phone go anywhere...

To kamau . I hope you have fun with the s2 sweet phone. Would love to have it..

To woodstock, I'm sorry to hear that. But I understand .. just remember theres still respectful people here, and if you are done I wish you the best of luck with what ever company/ phone you go to, if your even leaving the warp or not....
 
Well i don't think its the "I'm leaving" threads that are issue. I think its the i'm leaving because this phone sucks that are the problem. The problem is, a majority of us do like the warp, and get offended by others mocking something we like. Now it is equally childish to attack the people that make these posts. I really think from now on, everyone should ignore it when it happens. :)
 
OK folks... I think everyone needs to take a deep breath or two and remember that Android is all about choice! If you don't like phone A then you can always move to phone B. If you don't like phone B you can always move to phone C. This is the beauty of the Android OS.

If a Warp owner feels the need to leave their Warp behind and move to another device, awesome! If they decide to come back to the Warp, awesome!

Life is much too short to get upset over people moving from one device to another! So enjoy what you got and have an awesome rest of the week! ;) :D
 
I agree. I'm going to soon me getting an asus memo 370t and use wifi teather to use 3g on it - prepaid 3g on a tablet! :P
