Hi All! New to Android and the forum! I've been a mobile device user for a long time. Started w/ PDA's for field work with WinMo devices and eventually to WinMo phones. My current 'work' phone is still an HTC Imagio running WinMo 6.5. For what it lacks in processing power and applications, there are still a lot of good things about that out-dated mobile OS! When looking to go to a smartphone for personal use, I was really planning to move to Windows Phone (WP) 7, thinking it would be an 'upgrade' to the 6.5. But after doing the research, I was most disappointed! So, I tested out the Iphone (inherited a 3G from my daughter!) and was not particularly impressed (I'm not an Apple fan at all anyway). So, now to Android! In short, it is everything that WP7 *should* have been! Though still a bit frustrated by the PIM and email applications (not up to even the WinMo 6.5 capability, and still trailing the BB), it is close enough. And the other aspects of the OS and proliferation of applications make up for it. So, looks like I'll be sticking with this for awhile!
