Finally ordered the Seidio Extended Battery...

do they make a case that goes around it or no?

If you are referring to the 3500mah fat battery, there is a cover for it:

wow how big is that case? or is it just how the picture angle is? anyone verify that this doubles the depth size?!?!? I'd get it, but if it makes the phone bulky...i'll have to think about it.

does it being bulkier make a difference for you? seems like a third more in depth
I'm using it now. It is noticably thicker, but its still comfortable to hold.

Damn thay thing is huge. I thought about buying a extended battery for my g1 but then it went to the grave yard like a week later. Glad I didn't go for it.

Stock eris on the right, extended battery in the middle, and an HTC Mogul on the left for size comparison.

Since I bought the extended battery I've never once thought about putting the old puny battery back in it. I'll take 3 days battery life and sacrifice a 1/4 inch thickness.

so back to the original question, does anyone know?

There isnt one. I made a custom one out of my original case, some electrical tape and part of a plastic binder. It works excellently, and kind of reminds me of an otterbox. Took maybe an hour to make the modifications and finalize the product, and the case itself was only $10.

I love the extended battery. Its the battery that shouldve came with the phone!
I mean if actually using your phone kills it in under an hour... Its kinda a failure. But this fixes that problem. And the added bulk doesnt make it too big. Its 6-8cm.

Love the battery, hate the fact that there's no protective case for it. I had to get a leather holster from target which worked fine. Sent an email to Seidio and asked if they were making one for it with the 3500 mAh battery. Hope to get an answer soon.
