Root finally rooted my Ally

ok well after trying two differant apps i figured out that none of them were made for rooting gingerbread. so after almost bricking my be-loved Ally and after basically fixing it and finally gingerbreacking it noticed that neither one of my home button now works and I cant lock my screen either. does anyone know if there is anything that i can do about this or is it something that i'm just goin to have to live with?

Your ally doesnt have gingerbread

Agreed, it doesnt have gingerbread so unfortunately Im not sure what you did to try to root it initially.... I used gingerbreak on my Ally with no issues. Easy things first... did you try to pull the battery and completely reboot it? Are you able to get a custom recovery installed to it?

I used Tridents method on my first Ally.

Gingerbreak on my second Ally.

And Tridents method on my current Ally.

Ive never had problems?....

oh I see lol I think he ended up rooted but now things dont work right. Doubted it was gingerbreak that broke it so was trying to get more info on what he did before gingerbreak so hopefully we can fix the prob.
