After having a sony ericsson xperia x10 for a year and then it messed up and moved to a blackberry torch (big mistake) i am finally back with an android phone. Decided to go for the galaxy s2! Looking forward to see what this thing can do! Any tips or advice let me know.

Only three tips from me...

1. Download and read the SGSII full User Manual, here:-

Support for GT-I9100

2. Read through the Tips n Tricks sticky on the SGSII, here:-

3. Make a note of the Model number, Baseband version, Kernel version and Build number in Settings > All about phone, when you receive it, so that you can quote them in posts, etc; as there are so many variations.

Lastly, enjoy your phone... IMHO it is the best phone I've ever owned... bar none.
