Help find and delete Dropbox

Asking for help on how to remove the Dropbox app from my android. (I already delete my Dropbox account, on the web using my PC)

I understand to remove apps you go to Setting/Application Manager, choose the App from the list and use the options to delete it.

But Dropbox does not appear on the list of Apps in Setting/Application Manager. And yet on my main screens the Dropbox Icon is there. And the functionality is there - when I used the USB cable to plug the droid into my home PC, Dropbox instantly started up on the PC.

It may be a preinstalled app that you won't be able to delete unless you root the phone. You may be able to disable it. Goto your application list under settings and go to all apps. It should be in that list

Yep! There should be a "tab" or column heading in the Settings -> Apps.

You can swipe your screen to the left and you should see the column headings change (scroll) from "Downloaded" to "Running" to "All".

The DropBox app will likely appear in the "All" list as @redjama kindly indicated.

Hopefully you will be able to disable it even if you can't remove it.

Cheers!

Thank you. Once I went to "all" apps (I needed the left swipe hint or wouldn't have found it), both Dropbox and DropboxOBEE were there. No delete or remove button, but there were Force Stop and Turn Off buttons. Using both on both apps made Dropbox icon no longer appear.
