Help Find background apps?

Hi,

I want to know which apps are slowing my phone down with background processes and memory usage. I know how to use task manager to find active apps and manage memory. It says "shut down 31 apps" or something like that when I do a clear memory. How do I find out which ones those 31 are, before closing them, so I can get rid of the worst resource hogs?

These are internal system apps and OS components. They are actually what makes you able to use your device as a smart phone. You cannot shutdown them permanently otherwise your phone will malfunction. For example, Home Screen is one of them, when you clear your phone's memory you shut down the home screen, once you do, your phone re-open it. However, you can restrict what apps can be run in the background through [Developer Options] [Background process limit]. But don't do it. Setting [Background process limit] to [No background] makes your phone reloads a process/service every time you switch to it from another process/service which is a performance disaster.
