Hi. I just had my phone worked on at Sprint. Afterwards I lost many personal text messages, and I'm wondering if there's anyway of getting them back?

There are a couple of things you can try. First, I know Recuva is good for finding deleted files. Not sure how it does with messages but its worth a try and its free.
Also, I found Smartphone Recovery Pro that says it does recover SMS messages. It isn't free but it does have a 14 day free trial.

They probably did a factory data reset, among other things perhaps. Was the rest of your data preserved (pics, files etc)? Or was the device in "new, out of the box" condition" when returned to you?
If they did the reset, you can talk to them about retrieval of SMS, emails, etc. If not, the sort of app suggested by Atma may work for you. In Play Store, under a search for "sms recovery," I found an app by "Easis," which addresses the issue of recovering removed sms messages.
