Help Find my Xoom??

I'm about to spend $800 in a new Xoom but before doing so I want to know what security features are there to help me out. At the moment I'm with MetroPCS and i have lost 3 android phones that I will never see again. What would happened in the case that I loss my tablet, is there any way that Verizon of Google would help me to get it back?

Probably not since people are all up in arms and whining about android storing the location of devices. :D

There are many apps out there that will help you find it, even after it is gone...

With the new remote install feature from the web market, you can simply choose one of these apps and install them on the tablet, and it will report back to your google account mail with its location and other data.

This off cause only works if who ever has "found" it, hasn't reformatted it and installed with another account.

Some of these programs can do this in different ways:

So if I lose it, someone founds it and get the way to reformat it and activate it with another Google account, will they notify me? What about Verizon?
