Help Find that/those "rouge" app(s) to improve battery life?

So, in the hopes of improving my battery life, I backed up my rooted Atrix with Titatinum Backup and then proceeded to reset my Atrix.

Now, upon reset, my battery life was significantly longer, and the readout appeared to be a little more accurate.

So, I wanted to see if it was a problem with my apps in general, so I restored from my backup through Titanium so I basically got my old phone back with all apps and app data restored.

But, I noticed by battery life then behaving just as bad as before the reset, if not worse.

I've heard others talk about having a "rouge" app of sorts that is draining significant amounts of battery life, but I'm not too sure how to start looking for an app that is detrimental to my battery life.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks!

Try task killer, and compare the apps running after to reset to the ones after you restore your backup. You can then systematically disable the apps that aren't active by default until you find the one that is draining your battery. I noticed some weird problem with the AT&T barcode reader; it randomly started taking a really long time to load up, until eventually it crashed and I had to force close. After I force closed though it seemed to be fixed. Loaded up faster etc. You could also just try rebooting your phone, but I'm sure you've already tried that. You can also turn on notifications when the phone records a specific app using too much CPU/RAM.

You can find instructions to do that in the help app, under the performance section.
