Firefox app

It's a browser, it's free, so why not try it and see whether you pefer it? If not, uninstall it and you've lost nothing.

And there's no need to bump the thread when you've not had an answer within 10 minutes!

ImI stopped using Firefox once I realized I couldn't highlight text on a webpage.
The previous version had copy/paste. Unfortunately the new one does not, but it should be back soon in an update. Other than that I think Firefox kicks butt.

I have been using FF since they started developing for Android. It's true it used to be a memory hog and I never understood why every update was 14Mb. With the latest release though, it feels much faster. The UI seems to be getting on track to make an easier experience. There's still a few things I'd like to see like cut/paste and better tap to zoom.

What Google sites do you mean? When I login to Google Firefox lets me use either the mobile version or full desktop.

The Google site itself uses the mobile version, not the touch optimized version. You don't have to stray away. Same thing with opera. Try going to Google on the default or Dolphin. Huge difference from FF. Even the FF developers acknowledge this shortcoming.

Here's the difference. I've attached Chrome, Firefox, Opera.

I'd never even seen the 'touch optimized' version of Google before. Now that I have, I just don't care.

Staying with Firefox...

The text IMO are too small and easy to mis-tap something, especially when you are browsing through the search results.

Text size can be changed in the settings, by the 'Bigger Text' add-on or just zoom in.

I set the text to "LARGE" and for some reason it did not change in the Google websites. And its just ugly. LOL. Just annoying for me. :D Bah, I'm probably just being eccentric about how it looks ugly. LOL. Like the fact that I feel I NEED to use FF on PC if I use FF on my phone. Except that I'm on Chrome because of Chrome apps. Tweetdeck Web is ugly. And I like being able to see the Google Doodle for the day, which you can't on FF. LOL!

I keep FF on my phone though. Although now that I went a whirl with it again, the new UI is nice. Might try it out again for a while.

Dolphin HD is the clear winer of the mobile browsers

FF has nothing to offer

Opera's only upside is their own real apps store, not a bunch of google links.

Ok, so apparently, Firefox works with my laptop's fingerprint scanner, so considering to shift from Chrome to it. And well, if that happens I'm going to go FF on mobile as well. :D The Google mobile sites are my only caveat.

The bad thing about Dolphin is they removed bookmark sync to your PC's browser, and phonemarks doesn't work with Chrome anymore.
