ok... for those that are ROOTED and if you are comfortable messing with partitions; Not for the faint of heart.

did you notice all the "lost free space" in System storage and cache??? Get "Quick Systems Info" from the market to see.

You can reclaim that and move it to your internal storage area!!!!!!! This can free up memory .. up to 150MB!
I have used it for my Hero and it made it 100% better phone.
they have taken the same mod and tweeked it for the EVO.

thanks! I am constantly running out of memory...even with most of my apps on the sd card. I will check this out!

I read about this a week or so ago. It's nice to hear from someone who's done it. I consistently have plenty of available space, so I don't really need it yet, but I might give it a shot if/when I need to. Thanks for the info.
