fireworks recorded on my evo

Cool . You did the editing at home? And next time please up the rez.....Makes it so much nicer for the watchee.

I added two videos from tonight taken with my Evo at 720p. First was when the sun went down and was still a little light, but the second one was the finale at dark and was amazing. Both are taken with the HTC Evo on 720 setting with ISO set to auto.

Let me know what you think! Little FYI: These videos were taken on the beach at Siesta Key in Sarasota, FL. Happy 4th!

^^wow thanks for being negative... why do people on here have to be rude when posting on threads. maybe the op isnt 100
% tech savvy or maybe they dont know as much as you, but they do love there evo just as much and like sharing things they have done with it. and then people like you come in and chime in their two cents. this is ridiculous.

open internet forum, people poke fun. it happens everywhere you go, just like out in public, get over it or live in a closet. really isn't that big of a deal to get all worked up over.

nice videos, 720p ones don't look to bad either.

hey what song is that?

not bad. we could really use a case that has those adjustable balls as legs... no more camera shake :)

watching fireworks under anything that 60FPS sucks. I recorded the fireworks last here with my Canon HD camcorder in both 30FPS and 60FPS and it's a night and day difference.

I had to turn off the sound for all of those videos god the mic on the Evo is atrocious! Video quality really not that great either, I'm picking up an Epic 4G returned my Evo yesterday for this very reason.

i went to a few firework displays the last 3 nights. my friend has the iphone 4 and i have the evo. we both took videos, and i have to admit... the video recording on the iphone 4 ran circles around the evo. while the quality is not horrible on the evo, the videos he took were way more clear and crisp and smooth on the 4. we were standing next to each other and under the same lighting conditions, both 720p, all street lights were turned off and we were about 100 yards away from the launching area. i've knocked his iphone since before he even got it, but when it came to this, i had nothing... i had to back down and admit i was impressed. :-x

Nice video's. Part of the fireworks fun is the booms and the bangs. Don't wanna hear elevator music...!

alright so i fixed the video quality to 720 i dont really see a difference but...

and the song is called fourth of july, its one of the free youtube songs.

and the reason there is a song is because the audio quality sounded horrible on the evo.

way too many people, couldn't get a good spot :(:(

This is the finale, it starts at about 1:00, sorry about the shaking, i had to hold my phone up for 13 minutes of straight fireworks.

I love 1:27-1:31. First time ive been this close to fireworks actually felt some vibrations.
