Firmware backup?

There is no way to just backup old version before upgrading to new one.
You could only backup new firmware ROM during the upgrade process (when phone is in download more) by visiting your Windows %temp% folder (Start->Run->%temp%) and backup of newly created folder with uncompressed, decrypted ROM archive.
