Help Firmware Issue

Lurker
Hi, apologies because someone has probably had this before but i couldnt find it in past threads.

I had KG6 installed via odin, and this morning I tried to install KI4. After installing it from xda, I turned on the phone and it keeps coming up saying "com.android.phone" has stopped (force close). So basically everything closes, this happens repeatedly.

So then I tried to go back to KG6, and I followed the same instructions I used before, but then the phone just gets stuck on the starting up loop (samsung logo etc).

In a last bid I tried to install the frankenstein version of KI4, the same issue happened with force close as the real KI4. After playing with it for ages, if I go to processes > CSC > Clear data, then the issue goes away. But it comes back everytime I turn the phone off/on.

So really I don't what to do now :S. On the guide it says something about changing the bootloader, I tried this but being a complete novice I probably messed it up - however it made no difference!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ross

This is what it says in about phone:
Android version 2.3.5
Baseband I9100XX14
Kernel Version 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKI8-CL616395root@dell149 #2
Build Number Gingerbread.XWKI8

You got a right mix on there .

I'd try flashing the 2.3.5 oxa poland k I3 package and see how you get on with that

KG6 was a buggy firmware. im afraid u need to do a wipe (factory reset) and then flash ur newer firmware again (KI3 etc).. i got bootloops and force closes no matter wat i flashed on top of KG6.. i hope u have a backup
