Hi fellow pinoys, i'm new here and this is my very first post
Just want to ask a few questions, hoping someone could answer me. I just got a new unit from SUN couple of days ago and i've observed these issues:
1 - Micro SD card is unmounted randomly. I would need to open the back cover and detach/attach the card to be able to use it again. Doesn't happen a lot, about 1-2 times a day lang. Is this a problem with my phone or with the card? I don't have another card to try right now, but will get one this afternoon.
2 - There are times when my live wallpaper is automatically replaced with the default Sun wallpaper which is fugly
Does this have anything to do with the installed Task Manager killing the live wallpaper app? I've read kasi na you can tell the Task Manager to make exemptions pero wala naman akong nakitang setting. When I click the touch thingy left of the home button, it only shows "sort".
Edit: Just found out that my officemate has the same problem that's why she stopped using live wallpapers already. Also, I forgot to mention that I also tried having the live wallpaper installed directly on the phone to eliminate possible issues with the SD card being randomly unmounted.
3 - When i download stuff from the market, some of them are automatically saved to the SD card, and some are not. Those that are not saved on the card, when I check Settings>Applications>Manage Applications and then clicking the the specific App, the "Move to SD Card" is grayed out and I can't move it to the card.
Btw, i have 2.3.6 DXLA1, unrooted.
Hopefully I could solve these issues before my 7-day replacement warranty runs out so that I could have the unit replaced if there's a need to. TIA!

all i can conclude is connected with your #2 issue. sun made a modification before they deploy their phones. i cant verify it since i bought mine from the store and not packaged from providers. ung officemate mo, sun package din ba?

No, she's with Smart. We only have the same problem on item no. 2, she doesn't have the no. 1 and 3 issues.
Edit: Please disregard Item no. 1, just found a thread about it. My apologies for not searching the forum before I made the post, I normally do that when i'm new to a certain forum, but this time, in my haste, forgot that basic rule.
No, she's with Smart. We only have the same problem on item no. 2, she doesn't have the no. 1 and 3 issues.

Update:
Issue on live wallpaper solved. It really was related to the SD card problem because after I moved my wallpaper to the phone from the SD card, it has not changed randomly since.
Also, still getting the pesky SD card error... grrr. Fortunately, I just use this phone for text and call and nothing else, so it doesn't really affect me that much... it's just annoying to see the SD unmount message.
Battery on this model is pretty impressive for me, as compared to my old xperia X8. It's running for almost 5 days now since it was last charged. Albeit most of the time it's just idle, it's still better than my iPhone which last 2 days +- on idle as well.

well im using the latest firmware so far so good, yung napansin ko bumilis yung internet browser nya ska madali mkaconnect sa internet, update ko sya via FOTA and dapat mganda signal kc minsan ngeerror pero succesful nmn ang updating, pued rin sa KIES pero i prefer data connection kc di nbura yung mga files ko sa phone, bout sa battery medyo madaling malowbat.
