Root Firmware update - best method?

So am now S-off, TWRP'd and rooted (not quite fresh out the box :thumbup: ), but still on stock ROM while I look see what's available. Now have an OTA available that I think will do a update to 2.22.x - can anyone in UK confirm if this is to 4.4.3 and includes firmware update compatible with 4.4.3 update?

If it is, is it easier (safer maybe?) to just flash stock recovery to take the OTA and then re-flash TWRP/SuperSU?

Or alternative is to flash one of the cut down RUU packages from Here ?


Damn it feels good being here and loving the M8 - just need to get back into the HTC way of things again!

I used this method, since I was already on a custom ROM and needed to update.

I think the only think I did was add my CID to the android-info.txt and updated.

That looks like a full ruu. Found this stripped out to just keep firmware updates

Good guide that one, I used it to try and get S-Off but had to use Sunshine in the end as it was failing on me
