Firmware update .. bummer!

I keep getting prompted for a firmware update, and in the notes it says it's replacing the 'never' option to '15 minutes' for auto powerdown.

I wonder if there's an issue with running it nonstop.. why else nix rather than just add the new option.. :/

So is this a new update or an old one? I've only started using it this week. I'm on 1.0.00.18 atm.

I'm guessing they don't think you have a big enough MicroSD card. You'll definitely run out of space without one. 360 videos are never really long though are they? How long does anybody look in every direction?

Nah .. well for example I am leaving mine on right now.. over night, plugged in. Pointing at some tarantulas I'm keeping an eye on through the app.. and shoot some time lapse.

I don't want to lose the ability to use it as a remote camera.. oh btw just using front camera, not 360.

Time lapse should be no problem. I plan on using one of my old phones to see when the last leave falls in my neighbors yard. Maybe I'll get lucky.

If you could still view whole in time lapse mode that would work.. I could really lower the frequency to keep it 'active'. I don't get why you can't when you can in regular video recording mode and picture mode..

I see in like 270 vision.that last 90 degrees is behind me. Don't need that.
