first off let me say that i have no idea what any of the lingo or technical jargon on this site mean. im a new user and have no intention of trying to become some expert software developing hacker type.
i have an lg optimus p509. was working fine. this is also my first android.
i got a message to update firmware. no idea what this meant but figured it was standard so i went ahead with it. the 10 minute update is still going on hours later, with a flashing screen that says "firmware update".
i have NO idea what this means, and have searched all of the internet to find solutions. really, at this point, all i want to do is go to bed and be able to wake up to my alarm functioning. i dont care about any fancy upgrades or whatever else. i just want to get my phone back to functioning.
can someone please help me?
