firmware update

i wish to upgrade my 2.3.3 to 2.3.5.. i was going through the guide given here but i have a doubt... can i use any firmware that is listed in the xda forums like one from a different country or should i stick on to my own... i live in india.. if m free to use any firmware then pls suggest me the best for now...

u can use any stock firmware u like.. im usign KI3 at the moment (2.3.5) but ive been a bit out of it lately, im sure there's a KI8 and a KJ1/2 if im not mistaken. ihavent upgraded from KI3 coz i dont really see any major improvements with the new ones.. im probably gonna wait until there's an ice cream sandwich firmware released

btw, there's a huge battery life increase from 2.3.3 to 2.3.4/5 so go for it

you won't lose your data which is nice, not sure about the country thing but the country code on my phone isn't my location and it works fine

the CSC wont affect ur phone or its languages at all. and yes, as mentioned above, u wont lose any apps or data
